The USS Asger (NCC-39415) is a Norway-class light cruiser assigned to the Fourth Fleet as a part of Sirius Squadron. Operating out of Gateway Station, she serves as part of the division dedicated to supporting Federation territory, citizens, and interests in the borderlands of the Midgard Sector. The Asger takes point on humanitarian operations, helping shore up colonies and settlements on a frontier that Starfleet has neglected for some decades. She also serves as the region's primary diplomatic unit, maintaining relations among local factions and acting when necessary as the courier for the sector's Diplomatic Corps delegation.
