Shore Leave 2403

From Bravo Fleet

Shore Leave 2403, the twelfth Bravo Fleet campaign, covers a downtime period for the Fourth Fleet’s crews and ships in mid 2403. Taking place in the Beta Quadrant's Colludia system, it celebrates the successful completion of the Crossroads Fleet Action and the return of the displaced.

The Story

Following the successful return of displaced Federation personnel, Starships, and civilians, Starfleet counselors reported a vastly increased demand for appointments to discuss the experience of being exposed to another timeline and, sometimes, meeting alternate versions of friends, loved ones, or oneself.

Recognizing the need for a period of recovery, Starfleet Command authorized a fleet-wide stand down, including an invitation to converge in the Colludia System. The initiative follows the success of the fleet’s previous shore leave mandate in 2402, which demonstrated the value of providing personnel with structured opportunities for recreation, rest, and social engagement outside normal operating duties.

Located within the Beta Quadrant, the Colludia System offers a variety of distinct environments and recreational options. Local authorities have organized a range of cultural events, sporting competitions, and festivals to welcome Starfleet personnel and celebrate the conclusion of the displacement crisis.

At the same time, Starbase Bravo hosts a Cultural Exchange Festival showcasing the traditions, arts, cuisines, and histories of Federation member worlds and alien powers.

Although Starfleet remains vigilant toward emerging threats, Shore Leave 2403 is a rare opportunity for the Fourth Fleet to pause, reflect on its accomplishments, and begin the process of recovery before returning to active service.
