USS Healdsburg
USS Healdsburg NCC-80198 is a California-class Federation starship currently assigned to Fourth Fleet's Task Force 47. She is currently under the command of Commander Andrew Morris. Built in 2373, during the Dominion war, she didn't enter service til 2374 while there was a shortage of personnel. Delaney was in command until 2400. While enroute to DS47 to get their docket, the ship broke down, their communications array and engines go offline. As it turns out it was Sabotage by the New Maquis, operating out of vigor and on behest the colonies of the former DMZ. Their mission is to track down the cell of the New Maquis, and attempt a political end to the turmoil, should it fail they are to leave the vicinity.
2373 - Dominion War
Captain Helen Delaney was a Veteran of the Cardassian War, familiar with their tactics, but however the ship was to remain in the interior. With the Fall of Betazed and the Defeat of many fleets, the Federation decided to move the California's into the border patrol instead of the interiors. A lot of hit and runs and attempts were made with the H but with the ships armament, being built for Diplomatic missions it was harder.
2375 - Post Dominion War & Utopia Planetia
In the Post war era it was finally a lotted time for exploration and second contact what the ship was meant for. with now Captain Delaney at the helm she was more prepared for the task at hand.
In 2381 She took on a young Ensign from Ferenginar, Ensign Talat Nimora for Operations and Lieutenant Junior Grade Idris Amir for Sciences handing picking them for their want and talents.
While undergoing repairs at Utopia Planetia Yards in 2385 the H as it is so lovingly called by its crew, aided in the evacuation and situation on Mars when Synthetic Lifeforms 'rebelled'. The H saw a lot of action. Moreso, at times than she was designed for.
In Late 2385 Early 2386 the ship was ordered out of the Central Core worlds, the H was pushed into service back at the Cardassian Front. The Ending of the Post War Support was detrimental to the Sector, and Starfleet felt a need for a escalated presence there.
With the fall of the Detapa Council, the resurgence of the New Maquis and the True Way Rebels made their appearance. With the Military Power back in rule, the peace was tense between the Federation and the Cardassian Union, the damage to the H was Evident.
2395 - 2400
The H under went the 'Command Support' variant upgrade. The command support variant has diplomatic quarters and accommodations for flag officers, as it is normally used to transport dignitaries within the Federation. This is the least common variant and has red paint.
Now being a Diplomatic Ship, she was used to run dignitaries to and from Conferences. Stationed out of Betazed.
2401 - Current Day
After the Borg attack of Frontier Celebrations and the Changeling attack, the ship was re-located to Bravo Fleet. It underwent more renovations and allowed for standard weaponry to be refilled and was placed under the Command of Andrew Morris.
Currently they are being redirected to Taskforce 21's purview wherein they will be based out of Starbase 21 but mostly providing support to the fleet and colonies. Unfortunately during it's mission, Commander Andrew Morris passed away, the ships Executive officer Commander H'Lai was promoted to Captain and she assumed the ship's command.
The Bridge
A Standard layout of the California Bridge is on the H, the only difference is there is a Command Station to the left by Sciences. This station is meant for Strategic Operations, should the need arise for a SOO and a Fleet Action is activated.
The Dirty Politician
Not in the same place as most Cali's she is located by Shuttlebay's 1 and 2 on Deck 8.
