History

The USS Agamemnon has a proud history in the Federation's Fourth Fleet, Bravo Fleet. First commanded by Admiral William Coast-Endas, she and her crew were instrumental in the war against the C'hakilian Empire. The current starship is the second to bear the registry number NCC-78701, with the added designation "A". After a prestigious career as Task Force commander in TF21 and TF58, Admiral William Coast-Endas stepped down in 2379 in order to take a place at Starfleet Command and the ship remained in mothballs for six years. The Agamemnon was reactivated in 2385 under the command of Captain Flynn Decker, a thirty-year veteran of Starfleet, but first time CO. After only 6 months, Captain Decker was reassigned and William Coast-Endas, the former first CO of the Agamemnon, was given the chance to command her once again until at the request of his family he relocated back to Betazed to serve as Commanding officer of the Betazed planetary operations center.
