- —Neil Armstrong
The USS Lakota (NCC-42768) is an Excelsior II-class heavy cruiser part of Fourth Fleet’s Task Force 47. Newly constructed at Avalon Fleet Yards, the Lakota launched in 2401 directly after the Borg-Frontier Day incident. Now under command of Captain Kosev Thiren, the Lakota sets a course to seek out new life and new civilizations, and to boldly go where no one has gone before.
