The USS Yorktown was a Constitution III-class starship that served as the flagship of Starfleet's Fourth Fleet. Originally slated to be named the USS Exeter, the Constitution III in drydock was renamed Yorktown after the previous Echelon-class Yorktown was destroyed during the events of Frontier Day.
