USS Selene NCC-82525 is a Lamarr-class Federation starship currently assigned to Fourth Fleet's Task Force 86. USS Falcon NCC-42047 is an Excelsior II-class Federation starship currently assigned to Fourth Fleet's Task Force 86.
The USS Falcon is a refitted Excelsior-class ship, originally launched in 2290 and relaunched as an Excelsior II-class in 2392 over one hundred years since its first voyage.
Design and Layout
As with the majority of the Excelsior II-class starships the USS Falcon is a refit of the previous Excelsior class. Hence much of it has stayed within the limitations of the original design. Taking inspirations from the Sovereign-class the ship's saucer has been rebuilt into an ovoid shape, and the warp nacelles mounted on swept-back pylons. The ship retains a visual look of the Excelsior-class, as well as retains many key features of the previous iteration of the USS Falcon.
