Wargames 2402

Wargames 2402 was the inaugural Wargames club-wide event organised by Bravo Fleet, taking place in September 2025. Introducing a new competitive format to the organisation, the event saw members divided into two squadrons through a sports-style draft system, replacing the traditional task force-based competition structure. Blue Squadron and Gold Squadron competed across two phases of short competitions designed to encourage participation, friendly rivalry and interaction between members from across the fleet.

Overview

Wargames was introduced in 2025 as a new type of club-wide event, offering members an alternative to the traditional Fleet Action format. Rather than competing as part of their usual task forces, the active membership was divided into two squadrons through a sports-style draft system. The event was designed to encourage members to interact with others from across Bravo Fleet while promoting participation through a series of accessible, time-conscious competitions.

The two competing squadrons were named after the primary colours of the Bravo Fleet logo, Bravo Blue and Bolt Gold. Each squadron was led by two co-captains who selected members through a round-robin draft. A dice roll on Discord determined the initial selection order, with Gold Squadron receiving the first pick. Members who joined Bravo Fleet after the draft were assigned to squadrons based on the ongoing selection rotation.

The competing squadrons and their co-captains were:

Team	Co-Captains
Blue Squadron	Fleet Captain Aaslin Braim and Fleet Captain Callen Varro
Gold Squadron	Admiral Liam Dahlgren and Fleet Admiral Luke Duncan

The event consisted of two phases, each lasting one week and featuring eight competitions. Members earned five points for each valid competition entry, plus three points for first place, two for second place, and one for third place. Individual members' accumulated points contributed to their squadron’s overall score.
