USS Perseverance

From Bravo Fleet

The USS Perseverance (NCC-97608) is a Pathfinder-class starship currently assigned to the Fourth Fleet, Task Force 21.

Background

The Perseverance was a later construction in the Pathfinder line. Construction began in early 2398 and was completed in earnest on April 2nd, 2399. With much of the line having been given shakedown cruises that data was used to update and retool the Perseverance. She was assigned to Captain Rowen Marston under his condition of sitting in the captain's chair one year only. During his time as captain the ship was put through its paces and worked alongside science ships and stations across Federation space. Marston surrendered his command as he said he would, retiring the next day. The ship would go through a short refit period using the year long mission to identify areas that needed work. She was assigned to Captain Wren Walton in October of 2401.
