This article is official Bravo Fleet Official Policy.

Section 1 - General

The Bravo Fleet Gaming Office provides a list of all currently available Gaming Platforms, Game Modes, and Modifiers. The three awards available through Bravo Fleet are the Combat Action Ribbon (for cooperative play with other Bravo Fleet members), the Strategic Action Ribbon (for solo play as a member of Bravo Fleet), and the Campaign Ribbon (for large gaming achievements).

All gaming activities are submitted with screenshots to verify validity, via the BFMS. For the sake of awards, all awards earned will be rounded up to the nearest whole number.

The following games and their respective rewards are:

Section 2 - Star Trek Online

As a fleet, Bravo Fleet has a strong presence with the PC version of Star Trek Online. We are listed on the Federation side as "Bravo Fleet", and on the Klingon side as "House of yo loS'".

  • At this time, Bravo Fleet does not have a presence on the PlayStation or XBox platforms, though this may change in the future.

Combat Action Ribbon

Awarded for completing certain actions within Star Trek Online with another member of Bravo Fleet.

  • For Combat Action Ribbons, members are not required to be a part of any in-game Bravo Fleet fleet/armada in order to receive awards, however it is strongly encouraged. This does not apply to Strategic Action Ribbons or Campaign Ribbons, for which members are required to be a member of an in-game Bravo Fleet fleet/armada in order to receive these awards.

Task Force Operation

TFOs screenshots should be at the end, with the “Available Rewards” popup, and the members of the group, in the screenshot, proving completion of the TFO.

Base: 1.0 Combat Action Ribbons

Modifiers:

  • Mode
    • Normal (1.0x)
    • Advanced (2.0x)
    • Elite (3.0x)
  • Bravo Fleet members in group
    • 2 (2x)
    • 3 (3x)
    • 4 (4x)
    • 5+ (5x)

A sample calculation of an Advanced TFO with 3 members of Bravo Fleet in the same group would be as follows:

1.0 (Base) x 2 (Advanced) x 3 (3 members) = 6 Combat Action Ribbons

Strategic Action Ribbon

Awarded for completing certain actions within Star Trek Online as a solo participant within a Bravo Fleet community.

Task Force Operation

TFOs screenshots should be at the end, with the “Available Rewards” popup in the screenshot, proving completion of the TFO.

Base: 1.0 Combat Action Ribbons

Modifiers: None

Campaign Ribbon

Awarded for completing exceptional actions within Star Trek Online, such as:

  • Reaching a character to max level
    • This can only be once per character, and will not be re-awarded if the level cap is increased.

Section 3 - Other Games

New gaming platforms for official Bravo Fleet submission by its members are evaluated by the Gaming Office all the time. If you would like to propose a new platform, contact the Gaming Office and we can review what qualifications are needed and the demand in the fleet for the game.

However, there are some games that can be played that do not have an official presence, or are games that can be only played as two or more people connecting together. As Bravo Fleet does encourage fleet members to come together, we would like to hear about these actions, through our Discord preferably.

Combat Action Ribbons

As a pilot, Combat Action Ribbons can be obtained for playing games with other Bravo Fleet members in games that are not officially sanctioned by Bravo Fleet, but can be proven with two or more people in the game together. This can be done by bringing up an in-game scoreboard, preferably at the end of a match, which shows gamer tags or names. Each person must be listed out with their gamer tag and their Bravo Fleet username for association.

  • For Combat Action Ribbons, members are not required to be a part of any in-game Bravo Fleet guild/fleet/kin in order to receive awards, however it is strongly encouraged.

Base: 1.0 Combat Action Ribbons

Modifiers:

  • Bravo Fleet members in group
    • 3+ (2x)

Section 4 - General Guidelines

  • Bravo Fleet's official Discord server can be used for communication and coordination of gamers, and we encourage your participation there.
  • Falsifying gaming submissions is defined as a member tries to report matches that have not been played for personal gain of any gaming awards or to attempt to earn wins in a competition. Any and all suspected falsifications will be referred to the Magistrate’s Office.
  • Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated in Bravo Fleet. Unsportsmanlike conduct will result in an initial warning, and may be followed by a ban, and eventually referral to the Magistrate’s Office if it continues. Unsportsmanlike conduct includes, but is not limited to:
    • Cursing at another member (not including cursing in general conversation, which should still be avoided)
    • Demeaning talk to another member
    • Demeaning talk to other gamers outside of our organization
    • Talking negatively about a member in public to third parties
    • Excessive gloating over a match
    • Although unsportsmanlike conduct is prohibited, this policy is not meant to encourage members to report minor infractions. Someone being a sore loser (or winner) is not the same as being unsportsmanlike, and healthy competitive language is not penalized.
