As dragons of old were wise but yet powerful, strong but yet humble protective but yet caring for those under its watchful gaze. Those that were lucky enough to be counted as friends were blessed to have an entity such as this standing beside them. Just as those dragons were in the past, so shall this Dragon strive to be.
One of the latest block three inquiry class ships to enter into service. Set up for operations in the Thomar Expanse with an additional modular kit adding an intelligence section, drone operations and a stellar cartography/Astrometric lab.
With the diversity of the crew kept in mind along with their experiences the Dragon fullfills a primary exploratory role within the Thomar Expanse for Task Force 47.
It has also been deemed as one of the Task Forces premier intelligence gathering platforms, being capable of intelligence gathering and analysis beyond a typical federation vessels. This is due to the addition of a redesigned intelligence gathering and analysis suite installed as part of a modular kit upgrade in the ships port side mission bay.
The addition of the 612th Mission Support Squadron “Fallen Angels” helps the Dragon excute their mission and adds a offensive or defensive layer to the ships already formidable array of systems.
The dragon looks to spread it wings and join the fleet as part of Task Force Forty Seven.
