New Bajor is a colony in the Gamma Quadrant. First established under Bajoran authority in 2370, the colony was attacked and massacred by Jem'Hadar soldiers in 2371, as a response to Federation encroachment in the Gamma Quadrant.

Resettled in the early 2380s, it now serves as the Federation's command center in the Quadrant.
