USS San Jose NCC-75583 is a California-class Federation starship currently assigned to Fourth Fleet's Task Force 21. She is currently under the command of Captain Scott Bowman.
History
Construction
The construction of the USS San Jose NCC-75583 was completed at the San Francisco Fleet Yards in 2400. The ship was built for diplomatic purposes, with well appointed conference rooms and VIP suites taking up a large portion of the upper decks.

The San Jose's first mission was to bring a contingent of Engineering personnel to the New Providence Shipyards to oversee the decommissioning of several vessels.
