USS Artemis is a Federation Obena-class emissary assigned to Arcturus Wayfinding Squadron of Starfleet's Fourth Fleet.
Namesake
Artemis is ultimately named for Artemis (Ἄρτεμις), the Greek goddess of the hunt, the moon, and young women.[1] Throughout history, there have been multiple oceangoing vessels, spacecraft, and starships named Artemis.
