Guide:BFMS Commands

From Bravo Fleet

The BFMS Commands guide is intended to help you navigate all of the features of the BFMS's Command system, ranging from setting up your manifest to filling out each of the fields correctly.

Requesting a Command

Commands are restricted by their class and your fleet rank. To see which classes are available at which ranks, consult the Intelligence Office Policy. The command form is the same regardless of what your situation is. All requests for Commands are evaluated by the Intelligence Office to ensure that they comply with our policies. As a note, approval is generally completed within 48 hours, so please refrain from asking for updates until that period has elapsed.

Command Proposal Field

The Command Proposal field does not need to be filled out in all situations. Here's what to do with it:

  1. If you are just requesting your own primary command that you are entitled to by your rank, you do not need to fill this section out and should leave it blank. If you already have a primary command, the Intelligence Office will remove the existing one before creating your new one.
  2. If you are requesting an additional command under the Squadron Policy, the Command Proposal section should explain what your new effective squadron strength would be, otherwise the Intelligence Office will assume you are replacing your primary command and treat it like the situation above.
  3. If you are requesting a special fiction not covered by the primary command or squadron policy, consult the Fiction Proposal Guide.
  4. If you are requesting a Roleplaying Game, you should fill out a Game Proposal first before requesting a Command. Consult the Roleplaying Game Proposal Guide for more information.
