The Fourth Fleet Advanced Research & Design Bureau is an agency of Fourth Fleet Command with the mission to make advances in the fields of engineering, science, and medicine to enhance the Fourth Fleet's capabilities to serve as Starfleet's dedicated rapid response unit. Dozens of institutes and hundreds of projects occur around the Federation, in particular at Starbase Bravo and Avalon Fleet Yards.
