The USS Tesla (NCC-74438) is a Nova-class Federation starship operating in the 25th Century. The Tesla currently serves in the Fourth Fleet’s Task Force 72. She is under the command of Commander Tia Dalia Savik.
Design & Layout
Originally built for small scientific exploration missions, the Tesla was retrofitted to survive longer more advanced scientific missions. Most of her updates will made so she could explore the Delta Quadrant.

In 2399, the Tesla had a crew of around 100, most of whom were Scientists, though its new commander, Captain Michael Ryder himself was not a scientist. Instead his skill and history was in tactics and battles, making the Tesla able to hold her own when started her mission to the Delta Quadrant. The Tesla will visit the quadrant to conduct complex scientific research.
