USS Orion

The USS Orion (NCC-92915) is a Sagan-class Federation starship. The Orion is a light explorer and was launched several days prior to Frontier Day in 2401. The Orion did participate in the events of Frontier Day and was badly damaged when the ship was overtaken by the Borg. Thankfully, its repairs did not take too long, and the ship was repaired by mid-2401 for its shakedown cruise. The ship was placed under the command of Captain Mo'Lee-Krabreii and assigned to the Odyssey Squadron in late 2401.
Design and Layout
The Orion follows the same designs and themes as others in her class. The only modification made by Captain Krabreii is the increase in lighting on the bridge. She failed to see the need for keeping the bridge at such low levels.
Shipboard Life
The Orion ran on four duty shifts.
- Alpha shift started at 0900 hours and finished at 1500 hours.
- Beta shift started at 1500 hours and finished at 2100 hours.
- Gamma shift started at 2100 hours and finished at 0300 hours.
- Delta Shift started at 0300 hours and finished at 0900 hours.
Due to the compact design of crew quarters, all enlisted officers on board the "Orion" were expected to share quarters with one another. Officers had their own quarters, while the senior staff had the larger, more luxurious quarters. The Orion did not house any civilian specialists.

The Orion is equipped with the latest shuttles, runabouts and starfighters on offer to Starfleet.
