Guide:Starbase Bravo Positions

The purpose of this guide is to show you how positions work on Starbase Bravo, including which tiers gain access to which positions and then how those positions fit into the chain of command.

Overall Station Structure

Overall command of the station is in the hands of the station's commanding officer, as that title might suggest. They are assisted by the executive officer, who is in turn over the division chiefs, who oversee departments, who oversee sections, all the way down to entry-level roles.

Command

Starbase Bravo's commanding officer is currently Rear Admiral Thomas Belvedere, dual-hatted as the sector commander for the Mellstoxx Sector, overseeing all general Starfleet operations in the sector not tied directly to the Fourth Fleet. He is assisted by Captain [BLANK], the Executive Officer. While Starbase Bravo hosts the Fourth Fleet's senior command staff, they do not generally interfere directly in station operations except in times of immediate crisis requiring the response of the fleet itself.

Operations

Operations is responsible for the day-to-day oversight over the station's core functions, especially docking and approach control for visiting starships. The Chief Operations Officer's role mirrors that of a shipboard operations manager, but with much greater responsibility.

Station Control

The Station Control section is subordinate to Operations and is responsible for direct control of the station's maneuvering thrusters, sensors, and other operational components from Station Operations.
