The name Excelsior has a proud history in Starfleet in its various incarnations, and this one is no different. Under the Command of Captain Jason Hawk, a hardworking loner who thrives under pressure, the Excelsior will be exploring what it's like to be lonely and hardworking in a harsh world where Starfleet is just dabbling in returning to exploring the unknown.
