The USS Sternbach (NCC-97942) is a Echelon-class lightcruiser in service with Starfleet from 2399, currently assigned to Fourth Fleet Command. It is under the command of Captain Azure Grosshalauer-Walthamstow and accomplishes support missions of logistical, strategical or humanitarian nature.

History

The Sternbach was launched in 2399, one of the new Echelon-class starships. Notorious moments include:

  • Being dispatched to intercept the USS Titan-A alongside the USS Cole
  • Being present in the Sol System during the Frontier Day debacle and having a large section of its crew killed, including most of its commanding officers
