The USS Swiftsure NCC-97410 is an Echelon-class light cruiser assigned to Endeavour Squadron. She acts as a utility vessel providing support to the unit and its areas of operations, and a rapid response craft in times of emergency. Fast, well-armed, and with vast secondary craft facilities, Swiftsure is highly effective in responding to humanitarian crises or border incursions alike and often acts as the squadron's 'problem solver.'
Under the command of Captain Peter Faust, she has been assigned a relatively inexperienced crew as Starfleet emerges from the losses of Frontier Day. With Faust as a seasoned hand to guide them, these young people form part of Starfleet's next generation, where greener officers must step up when nobody else can.
