Jon Matterson is a retired member of the Bravo Fleet Admiralty who formerly served on the Bravo Fleet Command Council (2017), as the Bravo Fleet Executive Officer (2013-2014), three times as the Bravo Fleet Internet Officer and as the Task Force Commanding Officer for both Task Force 38 and Task Force 93. His previous commands include the USS Proteus, the USS Bellona, Kartelan Station, Bravo Fleet Command: Beta, Faltan Station and the USS Enigma.

Jon's time with Bravo Fleet began back in 2003. Over the years, he has participated on a number of sims including Kartelan Station, Faltan Station, Palais de la Concorde, USS Enigma, USS Equinox, USS Healy, USS Valhalla, USS Athens, USS Vincennes, and more. He was the original author of the SIMM Management System and a founder of Anodyne Productions. Given real world constraints, he withdrew from simming in 2007 but returned again to Bravo Fleet in 2012, where he's continued to write with the exception of a sabbatical in 2015.
