The Tellarite Freighter was in use in the mid 2100's.
The ship had two different sections. There was the upper crew section and a lower cargo section. The Crew section housed the bridge, crew quarters, along with the rest of the ship systems. The cargo section was divided into a central access spine and six cargo modules.
These ships were not equipped with any type of shielding systems and only had one low yield particle cannon. This cannon was mounted under the ships bridge and between the forward two cargo modules.
The impulse engines were located in the crew section just behind the bridge. The ships warp systems are located in the cargo section at the aft end of the access spine with the single warp nacelle positioned at the end of a support pylon so that the nacelle is situated below the aft most cargo modules.
The Tellarite freighter was capable of making planetary landings. To facilitate this each cargo module was equipped with a landing strut to support the weight of the freighter while on the planet's surface. There was also a loading ramp that lowers from the ventral side of the access spine to facilitate loading and unloading the cargo.
