The USS Osiris is a Reliant class frigate that was designed as the heir to the much vaunted Miranda class line of ships. These ships are intended to be Star Fleets go anywhere and do anything design as they can full fill 80% of star fleets mission packages.
==== Captain Sarah Ashmore (May 2375- May 2385) ====


Currently the Osiris is part of Bravo Fleets Task Force 47 assigned to the Thomar Expance. Her duties include but are not limited to Patrols, escort missions, light scientific and exploration duties, light diplomatic duties to establish ties with the inhabitants of the expanse.

The USS Mercy was previously captained by Captain Acker Kather from 2398 to 2400.  The ship was regularly called upon to assist in humanitarian efforts, rescue operations and fleet actions where a medical support ship was required.  She was quite active in the events following the events involving the dissolution of the Romulan Star Empire and received several commendations from Starfleet regarding the crew's performance and valor.  She is placed on refit from January 2400 to August of 2400.

The USS Mercy was assigned to Captain Halsey in August of 2400.  The ship is refit to a medical and science vessel with refit equipment, systems, bridge, and more.

The Captains Ready Room sits on the starboard side of the Osiris the entrance sits in a small alcove at the end of the engineering consoles. Due to the shape of the Reliant class 1st deck the room is longer than it is wide and has a very slight angle that follows the deck outline towards the stern.  
The bridge is designed to be more of a conversational setup in which the CO, XO, and 2O would sit in the three center chairs while the various department chiefs and assorted officers sit in their assigned seating throughout the bridge's various stations.  The intentionality of the refit design was to experiment with a bridge design more conducive to the designation of the Mercy as a science and medical ship.


Since the ship was new and this was the first crew onboard, Lt. Cmdr Kr’Antren decided that he wanted to decorate his ready room using metal, leather, glass and in muted earth tones. The furniture pieces, including his desk, are pieces he found in an antique store in San Fransisco. These pieces are what was called airliner furniture in the late 20th and early 21st Centuries and  have been cleaned and reupholstered to their original look.

The forward section is the captain work space holding a circular desk a captains chair and two chairs in front of the desk. The desk sits against the forward wall with the desk facing toward the shelving room divider.

The aft section has a small couch (2 person) with two chairs and a glass and metal coffee table. The aft most wall holds book and display shelving. The rooms replicator is located in this section on the inside wall, the outside wall has three viewing panels .

History

The USS Mercy was launched April 2, 2370 at 8:30am. Her commanding officers have been as follows:

The crew begins the unloading process at Starbase Bravo but is interrupted by a distress signal from a long thought abandoned moon base several sectors over, well within Federation Space.

An outlying colony in Federation space comes under heavy orbital and ground attack from separatist Romulan forces who are on the run from the newest iteration of the Romulan Empire. While the fleet takes chase against the attackers, the USS Mercy is tasked with engaging in search and rescue operations in both the major city and outlying rural communities.

Mission 3 - "Last of Our Kind"

The USS Mercy is working on a science project at the far edges of Federation Space while being monitored and protected by a nearby fleet. A distress signal is detected one system over, and the ship responds.
