A bit of formatting here and there, tidied up a few links. Removed the thumb tab on the ship's dedication plaque image so it would autofit by the infobox's own rules.)

The USS Sojourner is a Pathfinder-class starship built in 2400 as a modernized and specialized version of the Intrepid-class light explorer, intended to handle scientific and exploration missions far from Federation space.

Produced at the Zeti Reticuli Shipyards, the Sojourner is the third of her class and features the latest in Starfleet technology and systems from the ground up. Assigned to Task Force 47 to take part in the exploration in the Thomar Expanse, she is well suited to provide a long-range platform for surveying and engaging in scientific research within the dangerous region.

Operation History

The USS Sojourner has undertaken the following missions since its commission in 2400:

  • Under the command of Commander Kirin Tarken - October 2400 - Present
    • Mission 0 – An Unexpected Boon: The crew of the USS Daradax receive some unexpected new orders on their return to Deep Space 9 after completing a supply run to a nearby Bajoran colony which will push each of them to their limit. They will each be expected to perform above and beyond anything they had previously expected.
    • Mission 1 - Do not go gentle into that good night (Blood Dilithium Campaign): Following the appearance of the massive subspace rift in the Gradin Belt of the Delta Quadrant causing the formation of red dilithium deposits in its wake ships of the Fourth Fleet have been assigned to provide assistance to the privateers, merchants and traders pour through the Barzan wormhole. The USS Sojourner has been dispatched along with other ships from the Fourth Fleet to assist those in need and map the new deposits. After several weeks of mapping new dilithium deposits and providing aid to several ships and mining operations, the crew of the USS Sojourner encountered families fleeing a mining colony in a binary pulsar system that the Devore Imperium took over and forced the miners to work on under threat of death. Upon arrival in the system, the crew discover that something is not right and soon find themselves in a desperate struggle for their lives.
