| The ''Zebulon Pike'' was originally commissioned as the [[Aerie Class]] light surveyor, SS ''Meadowlark'' in 2350. The ''Meadowlark'' was mothballed at the [[Trip Tucker Maintenance and Regeneration Base]] near Mojave, California in the early 2390's and rescued by Commander Talon and his wife [[Bfms char:46533|Trinity]] on May 5, 2394.

| The ship was heavily modified from it's original configuration to include a holodeck for training and mission preparation, and addition of forward and aft torpedo launchers. To aide in the ship's covert mission profile a cloaking device was "borrowed" from the Narlin Empire and it overseen by Sub-commander [[Bfms char:44216|Audren Swiftblade]].
