The USS Thermodon (NCC-88028) is a Raven-class multi-mission support vessel and therefore a very common ship used in several different roles and purposes. Outwardly everyone sees a non-threatening ship but under the cover of its shell stores advanced technology that rivals ships of larger size.
History
In 2401, The Thermodan was commissioned into service after an extensive refit into a specialized intelligence ship under the new Command of Captain Straylan Khor. Captain Khor, an intelligence expert felt the need to configure his new command into that role. On its maiden voyage, expecting to be engaged in some of the various theaters of conflict but nothing prepared the crew for the emergence of the Lost Fleet. Now, charting into an unknown conflict zone, the Thermodon, and her crew set out to assist in gathering intelligence on the dangerous Jem'hadar.
By the end of the Lost Fleet situation, the USS Thermodon is presumed destroyed in Breen Space.
Command History
The USS Thermodon is a newly deployed refit of the class and therefore only has the legacy of its current Captain, Straylan Khor.
Configuration
The USS Thermodon is a refit for intelligence Operations and has been modified for a small crew size of 7.
The following are the modifications that will enable the crew to fulfil their missions.
- Complete configuration of the Dining hall to be smaller with enough seating for the crew. Includes Two replicators, a private galley to cook in case of low or no power situations, and a small pantry.
- Two crew quarter locations with minimal space and top and bottom bunks.
- Special Room that can be used for storage or emergency triage.
- Advance Intelligence Suite
- Advanced Stellar Cartography room that contains planetary sciences and astrometric labs.
- Advanced Holodeck system that connects Intelligence and Stellar Cartography to enable the crew to more detailed information and study.
- Armory Suite that enables the storage and modification of weapons and armor.
