The USS Jaxartes is a Raven-class multi-mission light starship currently assigned to Task Force 17 under the command of Captain Kohlir Glasch Pef. The ship had been in command by various other lower ranked personnel to perform their specific assignment. Be it exploration, long-extensive investigation or simple transport duties. The ship is currently under command of Ensign Praugol, who was given the assignment by Starfleet Command by support of Starfleet Science Division to extend her work from her time in Starfleet Academy.

The Assignment

The USS Jaxartes is assigned to Task Force 17 under the guidance of deep-exploration of the Typhon Frontier. There they will investigate the extended research on the violent behavior of nebulas.

Start-Up Problems - 2393

A new batch of Ensigns gets assigned to the Raven-class vessel named USS Jaxartes. Their mission is to expand further exploration of the Typhon Frontier in areas that Starfleet designates as safe zones. Ensign Praugol, assigned to the USS Jaxartes as its designated Captain, finds itself with a ship half-ready for the long journey. She has to get the crew, the supplies, and the ship working again as Starfleet was on a tied budget when this was approved.
