USS Resolute
The USS Resolute is a Diligent Class frigate. Currently under the command of Commander Raan Mason, she is assigned to the Fourth Fleet's Task Force 86. Its primary mission is to patrol The Triangle, an unaligned region between the borders of the Federation, the Romulan Republic, and the Klingon Empire.
History
Part of Starfleet's rebuilding process after the Dominion war, the USS Resolute was one of many Diligent-class ships brought into service. With a more compact size but excellent combat capabilities, the Resolute is often assigned to missions on the Federation's borders, most usually patrol missions or escort duties where a higher combat capability is required.
Configuration

The Resolute is a Diligent-class frigate that follows the stock configuration, apart from an expanded crew lounge on deck three. This space, called 'the Pit' is primarily used as a lounge and bar, but can be quickly adapted to become a barracks or an auxiliary medical bay, should the need arise to transport larger numbers in the case of evacuation or other mission parameters.
