Prometheus Squadron was centered around its flagship, the USS Prometheus, namesake of the Prometheus-class. Formed at the behest of Starfleet Command, and under the watchful eye of Starfleet Intelligence, the squadron was a direct response to a possible new threat uncovered during the Blood Dilithium crisis of late 2400. Formally under the command of Captain Keziah Nazir, a veteran of recent conflicts, the squadron was tasked with exploration and tactical initiatives beyond the borders of the Federation, and within the Typhon Expanse.

Squadron Formation

Formed in late 2400, Prometheus Squadron was composed of two starships, USS Prometheus, a Prometheus-class heavy escort and USS Intrepid, an Intrepid-class light explorer. With the dissolution of the squadron, both ships have been released back to independent commands.

 ==Squadron Formation==
